"I paint figurative objects to tell stories and demonstrate personal narratives. My work is very much autobiographical, through the reoccurring image of inanimate objects and fragments in my environment. From the inception, I was more interested in glorifying everyday objects and elevating their importance on the picture plane.

My current work was created as a result of isolation and as a means to process depression, under the guidance of my therapist. “Peace by Piece” is a series of abstract landscape paintings that focus on the idea of human connection, disconnection, numbness, mania and vitality. The compositions depict an imaginary realm inspired by Earth that serve as symbols of hope and clarity.
